The Ufer family established The Bob Ufer Donor Fund at the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation in 2009 to continue the spirit of giving to the Ann Arbor community started by Bob during his life.
In addition to the Bob Ufer Memorial Scholarships awarded through the University of Michigan, the family wanted to provide an avenue for supporting other youth activities in the community.
Programs supported include the Superball 3 on 3 Basketball Tournaments that were held annually for a number of years to raise funds for the high school booster clubs.
In addition, we have made donations to the Ann Arbor Public Schools Educational Foundation that awards teacher grants in grades K-12, the Common Bond basketball program, a pledge to the building fund at the Ann Arbor YMCA as well as youth scholarships for YMCA programs, contributions to C.O.P.E. Center for Occupational and Personalized Education and funding for independent student projects at local high schools.
Your tax-deductible contributions to the Bob Ufer Fund at the AAACF will perpetuate this commitment to the Ann Arbor community.
